This excellent Spartan Shield is actually based on Frank Miller’s 300 – a graphic novel adapted into a movie. The story revolved around the epic war between the Spartans and the Persians who quarreled over no less than the democracy of Greece under the reign of King Leonidas. The movie is particularly known for its well directed and realistic battle scenes, featuring, among other things, unique weaponry for each faction.

This 300 Spartan Shield is a wonderful replica of the actual prop used by the actors who played the Spartans in the movie. It was crafted in such a way that it reflected Frank Miller’s vision of the shield. It’s made of steel with a touch of brass to make it look authentic. Plus it also carries with it all the other features including the leather handles.

True fans of the 300 movie and collectors of Movie swords should not be without this excellent Spartan Shield.
