In any family, it is not uncommon for one sibling to be overshadowed by another, and so the dominant sibling receives a greater amount of attention from both friends and family. In much the same way, within the PowerMate “family” of hand trucks, it would seem that the  LE-1 model of hand truck has forever had to endure unfavorable comparisons to its sister product, the  L-1 hand truck.

The reason for the negative impression of the  LE-1 model of hand truck is due to the fact that despite the fact that it weighs nearly double that of the  L-1 hand truck, it is incapable of actually carrying a heavier load and therefore can only manage an equal amount. Considering the issue entirely from this perspective then, it would seem that the purchase of the PowerMate LE-1 hand truck is counterproductive and inadvisable.

That said, one saving feature of the  LE-1 powered hand truck is that whereas its sister product requires the purchaser to actually purchase brakes for the wheels as a separate accessory, these items are actually included in the total purchase price of the PowerMate LE-1 hand truck.
