Being married to a designer is, most of the time, a lot of fun. However, when it comes to our own house we tend to have different opinions on what we should do. I will admit the she is right 99% of the time but every once in a while I get to have something my way and she admits it is better than what she had planned. One such element that I can up with was the Nantucket Ball Finial we used in the house as a theme that was carried from room to room.
We used some smaller versions that we attached to the kitchen chairs, used the normal sized ones on the banister and made a couple of bookends for the living room. Then we had a really fun moment using a Jumbo Colonial Ball Finial to make a centerpiece that went on our cedar table that sits on the deck. I was just glad we already had them on the bedposts in the bedroom so we didn’t have to come up with something creative there. It was great fun and we were able to spend some good together time at that is always a great thing!
